Foo weekend

The past week has bene steady, nothing of major excitment happening till Tuesday evening.
Tuesday nights the gf works, so when i got in I started making dinner for me and my son, whilst doing this I got a text from a friend asking if I wanted to go and see the Foo Fighters Friday night, I almost said yes there and then, but thought I better make sure the gf wasn't doing anything, so I sent the text.
"Hi x has invted me to see the Foo fighters Friday, do you mind if I go"
"No"
"Why"
"I have a meeting and I want to go"
"Well you go instead, I don't mind"
"No I still have this meeting"
"OK I'll tell him I can't make it"
"No you go"

Not a second had that text been read i sent one off to my friend that I will be coming (it was a first come first served basis).
So when the gf got home, there was the usual rules given.
1 Don't get to drunk
2 No pulling
3 Get home that night
Well the first one is difficult to stick to, so didn't, second one, not a problem, I am to drink and watch a band, last thing on my mind is pulling, especially with the gf waiting for me at home.

The third was going to be tricky though, not that I told her. I live in the south east of Kent and the train service isn't to bad, unless you are trying to get back from london. the last train is 11.30 and there is no give on this, if you miss it, it is an unlicenced taxi home or your staying the night at the station.
On Friday I leave work early and pick my son and gf up from her mums and we pop in to the supermarket for some food bits and I grab a couple of cases of beer, one for the journey. I phone my friend up and we walk down to the train station and get the 1.45 train in to london, we don't finish the case so we carry whats remaining till we get to Wembley as there is now no drinking on the tube. We find the tubes we need but the journey is a bit longer than we thought it would be so by the time we finally arrived at our spot we were in much need to a loo break, now the tube network doesn't really cater for this and if it does it hides the signs very well, so by the time we have dashed of the train and almost found an exit we spot the signs and all dash off. So with that out of the way we head off to the stadium and grab some food on the way, also stopping off at a bar as the doors haven't opened yet.

When we get in, the place seems bigger than when I went to see Metallica, but of course it can't be (can it). We finally find our seats and if you haven't been Wembley is very steep and if you suffer from vertigo, proberbly not the best of places to go.
We watch the warm up bands, first I have no idea who it is, the second is suprgrass and I knew 1 song of theirs, oh well.

Finally the Foo fighers come on and the concert is excellant, beer, great music and good company.

I took some pics which are below
