Time passes...

Tuesday I had been on the phone to the gf when she told me some of the things my son had been up to, "just this and that, oh and he swallowed 5p", I asked her how and she tells me that it just happened, so I asked my son and he doesn't know either, he told me he hadn't put it in his mouth as I have told him off for doing this before. I told the gf not to worry and its one of those things that happens to kids and it should come out sooner or later.

So fast forward to this morning and I am having my morning wee and notice something in the bottom of the toilet, I give it a flush to get a better look and it was the magic 5p, I let the gf know as she hadn't even notice and then my son just laughed and wondered how it had come out, so this morning I gave a quick biology lesson to a almost 5 year old, now I wasn't very good at biology (we didn't even have it as a separate subject at school and was just classed as science, so I gave it to him in layman's terms. I explained that what you put in your mouth then goes to your stomach (unless your trixie it goes in your nose) then what your body can't use comes out in your poo, he just laughed but I think he got it which was great.

Just let's hope he doesn't put it to the test with anything bigger then a 5p....I swallowed the plastic bit off a coat hanger when I was little.

Mum inspected mine with a knitting needle until it appeared....nice subject by the way...lol..xx

I was eating left over spaghetti for breakfast when reading this, and it nearly came out of my nose when you mentioned me! LMAO!

Now that's a conversation I'd like to read when you explain the birds and the bees to him...(mate, make sure you get your aim right!)

Oh and word verif is spirum LOL! Talk about a play on words!

Rae- What is it with kids putting things in their mouth, we all did it though, I am glad I didn't have to go through it with the knitting needle though
