The day didn't start to bad.
Got to work and everything seemed to be going fine, then wham, balls, I still need to do that. So I get on with what I needed and it took all day as well as all the other things that needed doing. Whilst that is going on I get an email "Hi son its dad, can you pop round on your way home".
I don't get many of these emails but when I do I know something is going right, so I get round there and he has this big idea that he rents my house and i live in his and pay the mortgage on it and he rents mine, once i have figured out the why and how much there is no way it is going to happen, I had to tell him this today.
Once i get in have dinner which was very nice after that put my son to bed and relax downstairs. Then the gf asks
"have you got a babysitter for Saturday?"
Me "nope, didn't think we needed one are you gong out?"
gf "Oh I thought we were going out?"
me "I'm sure I asked you and you said you didn't, so are you coming out then?"
gf "well not if you don't want me to and besides I never said that"
me "Ok great I will sort a baby sitter out then"
gf "its ok I have got my mum babysitting, but she can't have him all night"
me "Ok I will ask my mum to have him overnight"
Then it turns in to this argument about oh its ok for my mum to babysit when she can have him over night but not when we might have to come back early. So I say no, but thought it would be easier for my mum to have him over night. Then she starts saying all sorts of things which really don't make sense, so I say ok, your mum can come round here and we will come home early.
To me this behaviour is strange as yes ok I will ask her family first if they can babysit as they are only a 5 min drive away instead of asking my mum who is 30 mins away, because it is easier. She seems to think I have an ulterior motive and maybe yes I do, maybe I want to stay out later.
But then in the end we cuddled on the sofa and watched TV and relaxed together which felt great as we have not done this for ages.
Oh Doc, Happy Plaster Day, hope the physio is cute for you and doesn't put you through to much at the beginning.
